Clinical space, which is currently spread across campus, is now centralized in the new facility, strengthening both academic training and community outreach programs. With all the health professions programs located in a single building, students and faculty collaborate in an inter-disciplinary environment. Offices, a resource hub, simulation labs/suites and clinical spaces are also planned.
The new facility includes modern classroom and teaching laboratories to serve the School of Nursing medical school and other health-related programs such as physiology, speech pathology & audiology, nutrition & dietetics, and wellness & gerontology. The new building is the first phase of the university’s plan and the first science building constructed on campus since the 1960s. Medical Services Special university polyclinics operates for university staff at Baku State University where foreign students also can get medical care in case. Our programs are solidly based in multi-disciplinary experiences formed by active collaboration of faculty from within the college and community partners. The sparkling, 62.5 million structure features classrooms, laboratories, offices, a resource hub, simulation labs and suites, clinical spaces, and much more. The College of Health Sciences at Boise State University is dedicated to providing programs of educational excellence for professionals who advance life-long health in global communities. The new 5-story Health Professions Building replaces an outdated science complex that can no longer support the growth and pedagogical changes in the university’s science departments and added much-needed academic space to its nursing and health professions programs. In 2019, Ball State opened the doors to its 165,000-square-foot Health Professions Building. The School of Nursing at Boise State University provides quality services and hands-on experience.
